overview
Russia is our speciality and our most popular school tour. You can feel peace of mind that you are travelling with experts who have years of experience in organising and running school tours to Russia.
With the Tsars, Lenin, Communism, Stalin, the Cold War all making their presence felt at every turn, taking your students to Russia is certainly an educational experience and these topics will help bring your classroom to life. But the benefits of visiting Russia are not purely academic, it’s a highly valuable, eye-opening, cultural experience too. An unusual alphabet, an exotic language, new cuisine, friendly people. All of this helps your students form their own opinions of the people and the country and on their return home will leave them with a real sense that this one was one of the best and most unforgettable experiences of their lives.
We suggest an 8 day itinerary spending 3 nights in both Moscow and St Petersburg with an exciting overnight train journey in between the two. You’ll take in all the major sites including Red Square, the Kremlin, St Basil’s Cathedral, Lenin’s Mausoleum, the Hermitage, Yusupov Palace, Catherine Palace and much more.
