Day to Day
day 01
Arrive at Guilin
Arrive at Guilin Airport and transfer by coach to Yangshuo Town (1.5 hours). Check into your accommodation and familiarise yourself with a walk around the local area. Yangshuo is 65 kilometres to the southeast of Guilin and is characterised by crystal clear rivers, limestone crags and lush vegetation. The beautiful natural scenery admired by painters and poets has made Yangshuo famous throughout China and internationally. In the afternoon, try bamboo-rafting along the river before enjoying a welcome dinner banquet.
day 02
Local Project
Head to a local school to spend the day interacting with the students. You will watch a welcome ceremony performed by the Chinese students and then be taken on a school tour before offering gifts such as souvenirs that represent your nationality / home. Visiting schools should also prepare an English lesson or sports and games to play. In the evening, watch the incredible “Impression Sanjie Liu” in the world’s largest natural theatre with the River Li as the stage.
day 03
Village Life & Cultural interaction
Hike to a local village in order to see everyday life in rural China. Try your hand at local farming and help the community with planting, pruning or harvesting produce such as peanuts, cumquats, pomelo or rice (season dependent). In the afternoon, enjoy a cooking class and make delicious Chinese dishes to have for dinner.
day 04
Moon Hill Hike
Hike to Moon Hill, before relaxing in the mud baths and hot springs at the back of a 2 km deep cave. Moon Hill is a huge piece of rock with a moonshaped hole in its centre. The 800 marble stairs called "Appreciating Moon Path" can lead you to the top of the hill to get a close view of the Moon Cave. In the afternoon, cycle on a beautiful path by the side of the Yulong river. Back in Yangshuo try a traditional Chinese cupping or foot massage.
day 05
Rock Climbing
Go rock climbing on Yangshuo’s world famous rock climbing sites. With its tooth-like hills, there are lots of beginner routes to learn basic climbing techniques and rope work. Yangshuo is one of the world’s most famous rock climbing sites and whether you are a seasoned master or a complete beginner, Yangshuo is a great place to climb. Make your own take home souvenir by taking part in Chinese Fan painting class.
day 06
Hiking In Longii
Take a coach transfer (3 hours) out to the amazing Longii rice terraced fields to hike into the villages and learn about the ethnic culture of minority groups living here. Hike to viewing points ”seven star and one moon” and “nine dragons and five tigers”. Spend the evening in a local guesthouse in the rice paddies enjoying the beautiful night sky over dinner.

Depart
Transfer (2 hours) to Guilin Airport for your departure flight.
